Brendan Boyle

Brendan Boyle is Visiting Professor at ECLA this term, during which time he will teach the AY1 course Forms of Love. 

He is an assistant professor in the Department of Classics at the University of North Carolina.  His research and teaching focuses on ancient ethics and, increasingly, the place of antiquity in German Idealism.  This Spring, he is hosting a conference on 'Bernard Williams's Antiquity.'  His papers and reviews can be found in his CV. 

He welcomes any comments at b.boyle@ecla.de, and is very much looking forward to meeting the ECLA students and faculty.  In his spare time, you might find him jogging around Pankow.  If he looks lost, please point him back towards ECLA.
