Getting to ECLA using the Berlin public transportation network (BVG) is easy. Once you have reached the S/U-Bahn station Pankow (or Pastor-Niemöller-Platz, as you'll see in the specific directions below), take Tram M1 (streetcar) in the direction Rosenthal Nord. Get out at the tram stop Platanenstrasse. Exit the train to your right and take a left onto Platanenstrasse. The main administration building is in Platanenstr. 24 on the left-hand side.

From the S/U-Bahn station Pankow it is also possible to take tram M1-Schillerstr or Bus 250, in which case the stop to get off is called Hermann-Hesse-Str./Waldstr.

One-way ticket currently costs 2.30 EUR. It is advisable to have small change to buy a ticket either at a train stop, or from a bus driver. The trams are equipped with the ticket machines similar to the ones you find on the train platforms.

From Tegel Airport

Take the Bus 128 all the way to U Osloer Str., and there change to Bus 150 until Pastor-Niemöller-Platz. ECLA is a short walk from there (just follow Friedrich Engels street until Platanenstr). Instead of walking, you can also take the tram M1-Rosenthal Nord for another two stops. This trip will take you about an hour.

From Schönefeld Airport

Take the train S9 all the way to S/U-Bahn station Pankow. From here follow the instructions above. The trip should take 1h 20min.

From Zoologischer Garten

The fastest way to get to ECLA from Zoo using public transportation is to take the underground train U9 all the way to U Osloer Str., and there change to Bus 150 until Pastor-Niemöller-Platz. ECLA is a short walk from there (just follow Friedrich Engels street until Platanenstr.). Instead of walking, you can also take the tram M1-Rosenthal Nord for another two stops. This trip will take you 50 min.

From Hauptbahnhof

Take the train S7 and get off at S Hackescher Markt just two stops away. There change to the tram M1-Rosenthal Nord, and follow the instructions above. The trip will take you around 50 min.

From Ostbahnhof

Take the train S3 or S75 (with the destination Spandau) until the stop at S Hackescher Markt. There change to the tram M1-Rosenthal Nord, and follow the instructions above. The trip will take you around 50 min.
